Florida Sportswire is an independent sports photojournalism outlet covering high school, college, and professional athletics in Florida.
Founded in 2025, the publication produces original on-site photography and game coverage from venues across South Florida, with an emphasis on events and programs that receive limited visual coverage from regional and national media. All photography and reporting published on Florida Sportswire is original work produced on-site by Florida Sportswire staff.
Florida Sportswire publishes game galleries, event coverage, athlete features, and season reporting on a continuing basis throughout the academic and professional sports calendar.
Coverage
High school athletics. Football, volleyball, basketball, and baseball, concentrated in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties, including regular-season, district, regional, and FHSAA state championship competition.
College athletics. Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University, with additional coverage of the University of Miami across football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball.
Professional and event coverage. Basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf events staged in South Florida, including the Miami Pro League, BIG3, Inter Miami CF, and championship tennis and golf events in Delray Beach and Palm Beach County.
Coverage priority is given to events Florida Sportswire can attend and photograph directly. The publication does not aggregate wire copy or republish third-party photography.

A former college athlete and coach, he founded Florida Sportswire in 2025 to expand original photographic coverage of Florida programs and events that receive limited attention from regional and national outlets.

Florida Sportswire publishes original reporting and photography. The publication maintains the following standards:
Original work. All photographs published by Florida Sportswire are made by staff photographers on assignment. The publication does not publish stock, submitted, or third-party imagery without explicit credit and licensing.
Accuracy. Scores, statistics, names, and affiliations are verified against official scorekeeping, program rosters, or institutional sources before publication. Corrections are appended to the original article with the date and nature of the correction noted.
Ownership and independence. Florida Sportswire is published by JLK Interactive Inc., a Florida corporation, and operates as an independent editorial publication.
